Drive Responsably

I think that Driving Skills should not only be taught to teenagers but to adults. We live in a world in which there are people who think of an automobile as a personal toy and that they are entitled to drive. This type of thinking must be eradicated as it is the common denominator of Accidents at least in the Western World.

A Driver's License in the USA is a responsibility that the State Government gives to those who have completed requirements to drive. It is a permission to drive a car responsibly . The same can apply to trucks and buses . I think that eventually there should be continual education for those who drive motor vehicles [cars, trucks, buses ].

In 1983, my cousins [female] and their boyfriends [they were double dating] were driving on the street and they had the green light. The opposing car ran through the red light and hit their car. My cousins received surgery for their legs. All of this because of an irresponsible driver under the influence of alcohol.

On November 2006, my wife Marlene and I were hit from behind by a School Bus from the Public School District. This accident left my wife with pain in the legs and lower abdomen. I received pain and numbness in the left side of my body which comes and goes [even though my wife and I received treatment].

Before going behind the steering wheel, my advice is to drive responsibly . If you drink alcohol, find someone to drive you since many lives are at stake. I also propose continual education for current drivers. If you cannot take the responsibility , the best thing is to retire voluntarily.
